Inquiry into town centre regeneration in Wales

Over the last year Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd and Wrexham Councils have been working together to share thinking on how to revitalise their town centres.

This sharing of practical good ideas between councils and towns is extremely timely as a new inquiry into town centre regeneration has been launched by the National Assembly for Wales’ Enterprise and Business Committee.

Putting the pride back into Melton Surveys commissioned in Melton Mowbray highlighted that 69% of businesses found the range and variety of town centre shops to be unsatisfactory or poor.
