Upcoming
At the Academy we are working with individual towns to create Community Plans and to update existing ones.
We have also arranged evenings with both Parish and Town Councils to discuss how they can prepare for the Localism Bill and what it means to their community. Although these are closed events, specific to the towns, we can provide the same service for any towns.
We are now considering the most appropriate venues for the next series of workshops on Finding Funding and putting together our programme of training for the next six months which is likely to include the most popular skills training:
- Bid Writing
- Managing Volunteers
- Partnership Working
- Chairmanship
We would like to hear from any towns who need specific training or who might be able to provide a free venue for us for any of the learning events.
