Congratulations to Mold Spring Clean – National Winner of the Towns Alive National Awards 2011

The Mold Spring Clean project has helped to improve the town’s physical environment and promotes recycling, sustainability, pride and community spirit.

Springy, the Mold Spring Clean mascot has won fans both near and far and been hugely successful in getting young people and the wider community involved in the project.

Awards showcase events

Events are taking place this summer to celebrate the category winners and announce the overall zone winners.

The winners from each zone will then go on to present their projects at Action for Market Towns’ annual Convention in October to compete for the title of Towns Alive National Awards overall winner.

Climate Week Partnership: In addition, any applications under the Environment category which were submitted before 4 February automatically went forward for this year’s Climate Week Awards.
