Towns-4-Towns Exchange Fund Application Form

Applying for the Towns-4-Towns Exchange Fund
The Towns-4-Towns Exchange Fund will help towns learn from one another. Applications will be assessed by a panel from AMT, prioritised according to need and potential impact, and allocated on a rolling basis annually.

So, if your town has a project you would like to share or you are interested in learning more about a successful project from another town, the first step is to complete our simple Expression of Interest Form below and we will confirm your eligibility and send you the appropriate application form and guidance.

Please get in touch with Debbie McGrath if you have any queries about the Towns-4-Towns Exchange Fund.

Sharing success
When assessing the fund applications, we will be looking for a well thought-out plan for transferring the successful scheme, as well the longer-term potential of the scheme to be replicated nationwide.

Realistic outcomes
We would like to see realistic and measurable expected outcomes – such as increased footfall in the town or empty business premises filled – and good monitoring systems in place to check whether these outcomes have been achieved.

Funding available
The Towns-4-Towns Exchange Fund will cover 50% of your project costs. So we’ll also need evidence that you can bring in the 50% match funding to make the scheme transfer a success. The minimum grant request is £100 and the maximum is £500 (note: this is the value of the grant requested from AMT, not the value of the total project costs). In addition to financial support, projects will receive advice and staff support from AMT in proportion to the size of project.
