<p>Presentation: Settle Hydro &#8211; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, but mostly just Fabulous &#8211; Ann Harding and Steve Amphlett &#8211; Settle Hydro Directors</p>
<p><strong>12:00 – 13:00:</strong> LUNCH</p>
<p>Delicious lunch of local, seasonal produce.</p>
<p>Demonstrations and showcases of other Settle Projects.</p>
<p>Marketplace – a chance to talk about and/or display material on projects taking place in your own town.</p>
<p>Local community choir to sing to you while you eat!</p>
<p><strong>13:00:</strong> Tour of Town Centre, Riverside and Hydro site &#8211; Please be aware that although the screw will be in, the &#8216;prettification&#8217; won&#8217;t be complete and access may be restricted to one side of the site only. It might rain, so it might be a bit muddy. But we LOVE RAIN &#8211; complaining about the weather is banned! Rain=Water=Electricity=Money. If it ain&#8217;t turning it ain&#8217;t earning.</p>
<p><strong>14:30: </strong>Action Stations: group work to plan your next steps with input from the day’s speakers.</p>
<p><strong>15:15:</strong> It’s time to put your burning questions to the people behind the projects you have visited.</p>
<p><strong>16:00:</strong> PROGRAMME ENDS<br />
*Start and finish times fixed but session times subject to change.</p>
<p><strong>Travel</strong><br />
<em>From Leeds</em>: The first train from Leeds to Settle leaves at 08:49 and arrives at 09:48.  The return train from Settle leaves at 16:35 and arrives into Leeds at 17:40.</p>
<p><em>From Carlisle</em>: The first train from Carlisle to Settle leaves at 08:53 and arrives at 10:31.  The return train from Settle leaves at 15:45 and arrives into Carlisle at 17:28.  </p>
<p>The station is very close to the venue for the day so it is not a problem to arrive on the 10:31.  If getting the return train at 15:45 do not worry about missing the last 20 minutes of the Q&amp;A session as the full Q&amp;A list will be posted on the AMT website and participants will have the opportunity for continued networking through a dedicated online forum.</p>
<p>The station is just a few minutes’ walk from Victoria Hall, our venue for the day.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of Office of the Third Sector&#8217;s Helen Stephenson &#8211; Deputy Director Third Sector Support &#8211; when she addresses ruralnet|uk&#8217;s Collaborate|2009 on 25th June in Rugby. Helen will outline the initiatives put in place by her department to support the sector during the current recession and answer questions from the audience.</p>
<p>Designed for third sector organisations, Collaborate|2009, supported by Charity Bank, is a unique opportunity to discover new and innovative ways of working, learn from case studies delivered by peer organisations and develop new partnerships and ideas; all with a focus on saving you time and money. In addition to the Office of the Third Sector, sessions will include:</p>

Lunch and refreshments will be provided along with free wireless internet access and a cybercafe to support the technical elements of the day.</p>

<p>Melton Mowbray is one of 14 Welland market towns which will contribute their experiences of community-led planning through a series of study tours. The town itself is famous as a food town, which has just achieved EU Protected Designation of Origin status for its most famous product &#8211; Melton Mowbray Pork Pies.</p>
