Privacy Policy
Action for Market Towns (AMT) takes the privacy of our users seriously and we do everything we can to protect that privacy.
If you choose to share your information with us, for example by registering for an AMT newsletter or event, we may use this to improve our services and communications with you. However, we will never sell this information to others.
Occasionally, we may look at information about our users to assess how the website is being used or to offer feedback to relevant organisations who work with us – but this feedback will not identify individuals.
We send newsletters and updates about AMT, our services, and news and policy issues related to small towns. If you would rather not receive this information from AMT, just email info@towns.org.uk with your email address and a line to say that you do not want to be contacted.
How we use cookies
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to your needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes.
Cookies help us provide you with a better website by letting us monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
For instructions on deleting and controlling cookies go to www.aboutcookies.org.
