Hebden Bridge trust takes over town hall

A community-run charitable trust is to take over Hebden Bridge Town Hall under a 40-year lease from Calderdale Council in West Yorkshire.

The decision by Calderdale’s Cabinet on 8 December means that Hebden Bridge is to become one of the first towns in the country to take direct responsibility for running its own Town Hall building.
